A Week In Pictures

Emily is continuing to experiment with new foods. Her favorite so far is squash, but she will eat just about anything. Of course we love the messy girl she is after she eats. I love it!

Check out those cheeks! Justin's sister Kati graduated high school this week. Emily showed off her school spirit with Tesoro colors. We are really happy for Kati! Congrats!

For Christi's (Matt's wife) birthday we met at a shopping complex called The Spectrum and had dinner. Afterwards Emily and Justin hung out in the foutain. Walking around the mall we found a pet store. Below is a picture of Emily trying to touch the puppies. She was very excited the whole time. She sure loves the doggies.

On Saturday we went to Huntington Beach. We all had a lot of fun. If you want to see more pictures of our exciting day you can look at Matt and Christi's blog (on the side of mine). Above is obviously Emily playing in the water. She didn't like it too much. She was actually screaming in this picture, but I thought it was really cute.
In the picture below we (well Justin) buried Emily in the sand and then made a mermaid tail. Our fellow beach mates thought it was fun. There was even a couple that had been on a walk that stopped and watched us like it was a sand castle competition. It was pretty funny. Emily is such a trooper.

After our day at the beach we had a bbq and made smores. Emily's favorite part was the marshmallow. She didn't even need her hands.
