Fun Filled Weekend Part 3: Camping
The third and final part of our weekend was camping. The Grantham's found an awesome campsite a few miles away from a water park. After seeing the falls, we drove down and met them there. It was the perfect afternoon activity. Emily loved all of the slides including the slide where you went straight down while sitting on a tube. It was so nice and refreshing.
From there we went and set up camp. Here is a lovely picture of our new tent. After squishing Justin, Emily, me and my pregnant belly in our little tent last year, we decided to upgrade to this beauty. We love it, and it was less than $100. Score. It is built so there can be 3 "rooms" so Emily liked having her own "room." We even just had Lyla sleep in her own little space with a camping pad. She slept better here than at the hotel.
Dinner that night consisted of hot dogs- yum and of course s'mores. Here's the group roasting the food over the campfire.
Emily always gets SO MESSY when we go camping and gets some pretty crazy hair. I think she's a pretty darn cute nature girl.
And of course, our newest little camper, crawling over the tent and the grass like she owns the place :).
