Disney Day 1

When we were in California Grandma Kathy and Grandpa Kris took Emily and I to DisneyLand. It was still decorated for Christmas while we were there so it was so fun to see all of the lights and trees and other decorations.

I love that Emily LOVES the characters. Her typical approach is run up, hug them, and pose for the picture. It is pretty cute. The hugs are my favorite. Here she is with Jessie, and Donald in her cute ears Grandpa got her. While they were in the shop buying them Goofy came in and stood next to Emily and patted her head. She thought she was pretty cool.

Emily is starting to be only enough to enjoy the rides. Of course we go all the way to Disneyland and her favorite ride is the carousel. Luckily there are 2 between the 2 parks. She is very particular about which horse or fish she wants to ride on. The other favorite ride that day was the Nemo submarine. While we were there one of the ride employees gave Emily a "1st Visit" button. It wasn't her first visit, but she had fun wearing it.

What would a day at DisneyLand be without a trip to Princess lane. The real answer (an extra hour... it's a long wait). Emily loves them though. This trip we saw Princess Aurora, Jasmine, and Ariel.
This was the first time Emily has really been 'scared' or cried when she saw a character. When she first saw Jasmine, Aladdin was there too. Emily wouldn't see Jasmine, but finally would once Aladdin stepped away- sad. Anyways, here she is smiling away with Jasmine.
I thought this was pretty cute. Ariel took Emily over to see Jasmine.
Yes, believe it or not this Princess is Ariel. I didn't know it at first, but now I can see it.
We had a great time. We also had fun watching the Playhouse Disney show, the Pixar parade, and other rides. Thanks again Grandma and Grandpa for a really fun day at DisneyLand and my new Minnie ears!
