Fourth of July

For the weekend of the fourth Justin, Emily, myself went up to June Lake/Mammoth Mountain. Justin's grandma lives there and it is absolutely gorgeous. It was fun to take Emily there for the first time. We spent the summer after we got married working there, so now it is a special place for all of us. On the fourth we went to the local town parade. It was really fun to dress Emily up and spend some time as a family. 

Justin's grandparents recently bought a fitness center called "Snowcreek." This was their float in the parade.

Emily loves dogs and the ones at home usually ignore her, but this one came right up and let her pet him.

The next day Justin, Kris (Justin's dad), Kody (Justin's brother), and I went Mountain Biking at Mammoth Mountain. Mammoth is an amazing ski mountain and biking down it was just as fun. It was so exhausting and I have bruises all over my legs from it. Special thanks go to Kati for watching Emily while Justin and I spent some quality time together. 

A post about being at Grandma Connie's house would be incomplete without a section dedicated to the gorgeousness of the area. June Lake is an amazing place and wonderful if anyone ever needs to get away to a beautiful mountain area.
