Our Princess Turned 3

Once upon a time, about 2 months ago (December 9), our Emily had a birthday! She is now a very proud, very smart, very beautiful 3 year old. On her birthday she and I made her cute princess cake, that she requested. We totally improvised in every aspect of making this cake, and it really did not taste very good, but Emily got her Princess Belle cake :).

For dinner we went to the Rainforest Cafe and afterwards we had our friends Bob, Emmalee, Ezra, Chris, and Brittany over for cake and ice cream.

A couple of days after her real birthday, we had a birthday bash for her. Emily requested to have a "dancing party" after going to a real dancing party for a lady in our ward's 50th birthday. Dancing party I could totally do. We held it at the church in a little foyer area. Our current apartment is not really equipped for 10 dancing 3 year olds, so it was perfect. We did a conga line, the chicken dance, limbo, dancing like animals, and a variation of musical chairs. While the kids were enjoying their cupcakes, Justin set up a bounce house for the kids to release all the rest of their energy. It was a great party! We had so much fun.
