Emily's Room

Emily's room may be getting moved around here shortly, mostly due to her no long sleeping or napping in her crib. Before we did anything drastic, I wanted to document what we had her room looking like for the past year. Em loves taking pictures and so here she is showing you around.

Here is her darling bed, that I love so much and will probably cry when it is disassembled. Making it look extra cute is her special blanket made by Grandma Kathy. To the side of the crib are toys galore. It is where all of the "big toys" are stored.

Here is darling Emily in front of her changing table turned into toy box. Above it is a magnet board full of pictures of her aunts, uncles, and cousins who all live so dang far away. We love them all too much though to not have a shrine in our house. Tucked in the corner is the dresser that desperately needs painted white.. one of these day.
Here Emily is showing off her kitchen where she makes me delicious cupcakes. Next to it is her big girl bed where she currently sleeps. We bought a full bed when we got here so people would have a normal bed to sleep on if/when they visted. Hint hint. On the end you can see one of my favorite things- Emily's couch. My mom and Justin reupholstered that for her last summer. I love seeing her sit and read her books or play with her dollies on it.
Anyways, that is Emily's special domain. We are going to definitely keep the pink and brown theme for a while. I sill love it. Justin is trying to turn our back patio into a toy room, so we'll see how that goes. Anyways, that is Emily's room :)
