2011 Garden

Justin planted a fantastic garden this year. Sadly, I didn't ever take a picture of it in it's prime. He grew lettuce, tomatoes, green beans, peas, onions, a few kinds of peppers, squash, brussels sprouts, and herbs. I am possibly forgetting something. Anyways, we had a great harvest and even made a batch of delicious homemade salsa. We are not going to grow squash next year. We have done it two years in a row and both years have been a bust.

This year we had a little garden box, left behind by our friends Bob and EmmaLee, that became 'Emilys garden.' We took her to Home Depot and told her she could plant whatever she wanted. Flowers, fruit, vegetables, anything. She picked carrots. Her carrots were awesome! Mostly because she was such a great gardener. I wonder what she'll pick next year?
